Friends of the Library

 

Friends of the Obion County Public Library was established in1994 to maintain an association of persons interested in libraries, to focus public attention on the library, to stimulate the use of the library's resources and services and to cooperate with the library in developing services and facilities for the community.  Membership is open to any person, corporation or organization.

Events

 

The Friends of the Obion County Public Library sponsor many programs throughout the year.

  • Nifty Fifty Plus Bingo is held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 10am – noon in the library’s meeting room.

  • Lunch at the Library, a book review, is held monthly at noon. Check the events calendar for specific dates and topics.  Bring a sack lunch. Drinks and desserts are provided.

  • Book Sales are held during the spring (at the library) and fall (at the Wal-Mart parking lot).  Proceeds from these sales help with library programs.

Check the Calendar of Events for dates and times of these and other programs.
