Policy and Guidelines
Purpose:
The
Library acts as a distribution point for handout
material and announcements for public awareness
Policy:
1.
The Library, as its discretion, will provide reasonable
space for announcements and notices of programs and
activities sponsored by cultural, educational and civic
groups.
2.
The Library will serve as a community information and
distribution center for non-partisan political
information.
3.
When display space is limited, preference shall be given
to the library and library affiliated organizations.
Guidelines:
1.
Materials will be displayed for one month only.
2.
Items advertised for sale by individuals, groups or
organizations are not allowed.
3.
A public bulletin board is available for posters no
larger than 81/2 x 11” piece of paper.
4.
No easels, story boards, large poster boards, table
displays or other advertising mediums may be placed in
the Library’s public distribution area.
