TAG

Teen Advisory Group

Our main objective is to involve young adults (ages 13-19) in our group, and to encourage a lifelong appreciation for support and use of libraries. Members of TAG are expected to contribute to the betterment of the library as a whole. Taggers will promote teen reading, plan teen programs, and inspire their peers to participate in library activities. Taggers may also suggest new authors and other materials they wish to see in the library. Duties Taggers are expected to perform include helping with any programs in the Children’s Department, general library activities on meeting days, and participation in teen programs. Meetings are usually held on the first Friday of every month from 4-5 pm.

You must call the library to make sure a Children’s Department staff member is present before being dropped off to volunteer. If you would like for your teen to sign up for the Teen Advisory Group please stop by and pick up a form from the children's department. For more information please call and ask for Ashley. Be sure to like us on Facebook for updates and to see what we’re all about.
